Welcome to Frenchman's Bay 2011-12
JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN PRE-REGISTRATION
JANUARY 17, 2012 9:30 a.m.
For the 2012 - 2013 school year, Frenchman’s Bay Public School will continue to offer part time Kindergarten classes. There are 20 placements available. JK registrations will be accepted by telephone, on January 17 starting at 9:30 a.m., on a first call, first serve basis. Please do not leave requests on the answering machine, live calls only. All spots for JK at FBPS are considered out of area. Preference will be given to applicants who intend to register their child for the French Immersion Program when they reach Grade 1 and live within our F.I. boundary. Formal registration will take place in April. This is a half day program, a.m. or p.m., and runs everyday. Bussing will not be provided. Information about the full day program offered in our Ajax Pickering schools can be found on the DDSB website.
Exciting news for FBPS!
- Our school will be receiving an exciting renovation and addition! The Ministry of Education and the Board of Education have approved a budget of 4.8 million to add a new gym, move the library into the existing gym and much more! Watch for the plans to be posted in the fall!

As educators we know the importance of looking for the potential in each child who attends school. We know that we help students achieve great things if we focus on their strengths rather than weaknesses.
